The Department of Paediatrics was established in the year 2013. The department was separated from the department of Medicine in view of starting Pediatrics as a specialty subject for post graduate students from the year 2014. The department has a HOD room, departmental library and a classroom cum museum. It is well equipped with internet facility for the students.
Departmental library has a good number books, text books and reference books. It also has a number of specimens, charts and instruments for demonstration. The department carries out extensive clinical training programme for students which include both IPD and OPD training.The department conducts educational seminars both national and international. It invites renowned and expert Homoeopaths to deliver lectures for furthering the knowledge of students.
